Introducing the new Furbazaar intern from Paris, Julie.
Let me introduce myself, I’m Julie, a young French student who is studying Marketing in Paris. I met Furbazaar’s team when I was working at the fair « Maison & Objets » in Paris for their booth. Furbazaar gave me the opportunity to work with them as an Intern during summer, something I gladly appreciate. Unlike the internship I have done in the past, they give me many responsibilities and it’s a rewarding experience. I am actually working for the Marketing Department for Furbazaar.
It’s going to be an exciting month. Learning in the company is different that learning in school, it’s different knowledge and experience. I know that everything will not be easy but I will work hard and Danish people in the company are hard workers, and I think that is the main feature of their success. Being at work really early (around 7:30 am) is not something we are used to in France, it’s more or less around 9:00 am but I will get used to it. The rhythm is different and it’s just a question of adaptation.
I would recommend everyone to try an experience like that, we learn so much about the work and also about ourselves. Try the adventure, it’s definitely worth it!
Danish people are so nice and the food is delicious, we have something they call « Rugbrød » (Danish rye bread) at each lunch, it’s really healthy and there are so many variants for these : a lot of choice of meat and vegetables that we put on the bread. I am learning so much about fur business everyday and it’s such a pleasure to work with people who cares about what I do for the company.
At the end of the week, on Friday we had a « Friday beer » in the office. Thanks to this, we have time to talk to other people in the company and exchange some ideas around a good atmosphere. They do everything they can to make me feel comfortable. I am learning so much about fur business everyday and it’s such a pleasure to work with people who cares about what I do for the company.
Here I can have ideas, whether there are good or bad, they encourage me to do the best I can. Adapting myself to this country is something I like, the weather is different from where I live, it’s colder but people here are warmer. I will with this blog give my insight for young ladies who wants to be beautiful wearing fur and answer all the questions you guys have in mind, from fashion to serious subjects: there won’t be anything unrevealed.
